My adventures life - We found ourselves a new home - chapter 3

The men in black with black cars came to the orphanage. Both caretakers came out and greeted these men in black suits. One of the men pointed his gun at Joseph and asked, "Where are those children?" "Please do... don't get angry sir, kids are here, you can come inside and check yourself," Joseph stuttered.A man hummed and came forward and pointed his gun at the head of Joseph and growled, "Show us now! joseph had never been this scared in his entire life. It was like he was about to piss right there but somehow controlled himself. 

 

Lora summoned the children and directed them into a hall. All the children get scared that something is up, which is definitely not right. There was a handicapped boy who couldn't walk properly. Out of frustration, one man shoots him right there. Seeing this, all the children were shocked and horrified to see a kid's lifeless body on the floor in his own pool of blood. A man yelled and said that if you don't behave properly, it could be any of you.All children understand that their lives are in danger.

 

Well, what was the scene of these black men and what they wanted to do with these orphanage kids. We will find out later. 

 

Mimi Pov-: 

I kept on walking along with my kitten Miya on this empty road. We came across an old gas station. I saw from a distance that there was nobody there, as it is quite old and rusty and beside there is a small shop. There were a few old rusty cars scattered around, which might have been abandoned by the car owner. We came towards a black car, which was a little better than the other junkies. Miya jumped off the car with a thud sound. She started sniffling and went inside through the broken front window. We were both sweating because of the hot weather. 

 

I looked around and found one small long iron rod and attacked it on the other side of the window. The glass got shattered and I went inside the car. I tried cleaning a little bit to rest myself in the car as we were both damn tired. Miya also came inside and sat beside me. I looked out towards the gas station shop. I was hungry and thirsty as I had not got anything to eat after that bakery shop incident. 

 

I got out of the car and went quietly towards the shop. I stood there for a while and Miya started wailing her tail, which was a sign that everything was alright with us as per now. There was a slight crack in the glass door of the shop. I took that iron rod and broke a little glass from the bottom to go inside the shop. It was a little dark inside. The sunlight was coming from the upper glass window so that we were able to see the inside. It was all dusty and old stuff was scattered. From looking inside, we got to know that it's not been much longer for this shop to be closed entirely. means the shop owner might still visit anytime. I got a sudden chill up my spine thinking about that bakery shop owner incident. What if this gas station owner might come. I saw a fridge. I took that iron rod and broke the front glass. Inside, a few cans of food were available. I took two cans of food and a half-filled water bottle.

 

I came rushing towards that old black junkie and came inside. Miya had been sleeping peacefully inside the car the entire time, with no care in the world. I looked at her and sighed at her sleeping figure. I shook her and suddenly Miya got up and yawned badly and gave me a look that said why I disturbed her sweet sleep. I patted her head and gave her half the food from one of the cans. Miya and I finished our food. We were at least a little less stressed because we had a place to sleep, food, and water to refuel. I thought, what better place than this one, where nobody comes, so we have the entire place to ourselves? At the very least, there are a few food cans in the fridge that are about to expire. Thinking this, a smile crept on my face. I slept on that day in the car, which was our new home.
