I was free from the worry of being in that creepy orphanage. I and my cute little kitten, Miya now heading toward the road. I didn't have a single idea where we were going. I was still quite happy, excited but also a little scared that what if something happens. Now I do not have a home but the inbuilt thrill was enough to surpass the fear.
Well, what happened to me and why I am here alone roaming with the little kitten? All of this you will get to know by reading "My adventures life- How I got out of that creepy orphanage - Chapter 1".
As we were walking in the morning, came quite far away from that creepy orphanage. We became quite hungry and thirsty as well. We were in the middle of the woods, although I was quite happy that no one was chasing us but still afraid that what if we came across something more dangerous. I was all thinking about what would have been happening to those children and were the owners of the orphanage knows that I escaped from the orphanage.
Suddenly I heard some footsteps coming towards us. We hid behind the tree and saw that the same men in the black suit were coming. They passed by us as we both were hiding behind a bid shady tree so they couldn't see us. I also saw caretakers.
I came out from behind the tree and started running in the opposite direction and now Miya was also running along with me. We both came to stop as got tired of running. I don't have any idea how far we came from that place. Ultimately, we reached the main road and we were able to see the empty alley. Now it has already become dark. Without having any food and water, we were continuously walking and running.
We came to stop when we saw a street light, there were few shops it was a small town. We stopped at a small bakery kind of shop. Although it was closed from the front side there was a narrow side path where we could peek inside the shop. It looked as if it was closed for a few days as the glass window was having dust on it. We came to the side and Miya got down from me. She climbed onto the window and peeked inside and looked at me as if giving a signal that everything is alright. Suddenly we saw someone coming from the opposite side. I and Miya climbed inside through the small hole in the window. It was enough for us to go inside.
It was a dark small pantry room where all the utensils and cake vessels were kept. We came to another room which was having a big refrigerator but it was fully locked. My tummy was rumbling by looking at the glass door refrigerator.
We went to the kitchen area and tried finding something else to eat. But unfortunately, there was nothing to eat. Miya also started making noises. She was giving me the most innocent eyes asking for food. As we were in the kitchen, we found a big knife and a stone. It was kept in the upper cupboard where I couldn't reach but suddenly Miya jumped as if she got an idea of what I was looking for. She pushed the knife downstairs. I took it and tried opening the fridge with the knife as this knife was having one screw kind of an object in it. I took that screw and plunged it inside the lock and twisted it a little. Suddenly I heard the click sound. The lock got open.
We opened the fridge and took a few pastries and some fish for Miya. I gave that fish to the Kitten. Miya was slightly wagging her tail as if it was trying to thank me. I was also quiet that we got to eat something good after a whole day of running and walking.
After finishing our food, we drank water and slept in the same room. The sunlight started coming through the window. I got up and saw that Miya was already up.
There was some shutter sound came. I looked outside the window. There was a man who was opening the front gate shutter of the shop. I got horrified at the fact we were inside and what if the owner of the shop saw us and caught us stealing? No way, I am very small to go to prison. I climbed the window and jumped outside "thump". The owner may have heard us that's why started coming afterward.
He was shouting that what we were doing in his shop. Are we trying to steal something? He went back inside the shop and came out with a wooden stick. I got horrified and ran off that place. We stopped as we came a little far from that old bakery shop. We saw that owner stopped following us.
I sighed and Miya also got relaxed and started wagging its tail again as if trying to cackle.
So, here the second chapter ends as the whole night we slept inside the old bakery shop. Let's see what happens to us in the next chapter till then stay tuned......
